Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of IDPhotoPal. By using the site you agree to them.

What we provide

A tool that crops a photo to a document's published size and checks it against the published rules, and guides to those rules. IDPhotoPal is not a government website. We can't guarantee that any passport office will accept a photo; only they decide.

Using the tool

Use it for photos of yourself, or of a child or another person you have the right to act for. Don't use it to make documents for someone without their consent or to break the law. We may limit or block use that harms the service or other people.

Accounts

You sign in with Google to pay. You're responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account at any time.

Credits and refunds

One credit unlocks the HD files for one photo: the digital file and, where the document uses printed photos, a 4x6 print sheet. Saving that photo's files again in the same tab doesn't use another credit. Credits never expire. If a passport office rejects a photo you bought because of its size or framing, we refund it. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Your photos

Your photos stay yours and stay on your device. The files you download are yours to use for your application.

The service

We provide the tool as it is, and we may change or stop parts of it. Rules change: we check the official sources regularly, but it's up to you to follow the rules in force when you apply. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, including missed travel.
